The St. Francis hospital department of Cardiothoracic Surgery is currently looking for an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to be a part of a multidisciplinary team providing advanced, high quality healthcare in both outpatient and inpatient setting.

Responsibilities will include:

• The Advanced Practice Provider will provide diagnosis, care and treatment of patients in a hospital and practice setting

• Communicating daily with patients using a mobile app (Secure MD) to assist in postoperative management and promoting benefits of enrollment in this solution

• Assist in quality projects and length of stay initiatives

• Evaluate, perform H & P order testing and provide test results

• Rounding on patients

• Pre and Post procedural

• Educating patients and family members

Requirements:

• Acute Care & Practice Setting experience preferred

• Cardiothoracic Surgery/Critical Care experience

• Bachelor of Science, Masters preferred in an AMA approved PA or NP program

• NYS Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License or Limited Permit

• PA or NP Board Certification

• BLS and ACLS certification

Salary Range

USD $63.38 - USD $72.00 /Yr.
