Job Description:

Anna Jaques Hospital is currently seeking an Advanced Practice Provider/Nurse Practitioner (APP) to join their Endocrinology team.The teamis comprised of specialistsall committed toproviding compassionate, high quality, patient focused care.

The APP/NP will see patients in the inpatient and outpatient settings to evaluate and manage a wide variety of gastrointestinal illnesses. In collaboration with our MDs, the APP/NP willprovide health care for acute and chronic diseases and offer medical care through lifestyle changes, risk factor modification, medical therapy, and early detection of disease through routine screening.

Ideal candidates:

• Physician Assistants should be graduates of an accredited PA program

• Nurse Practitioners should be graduates of aMastersprogram in Nursing

• Must have an active APRN/ PA certification and license, DEA number, and MA Controlled Substances Registration number

• BLS certification through AHA

• Experience in a teaching hospital andspecialtyareaexpertise.

• Experience in Pain Managementis a plus!

Some off-hour, weekend and on-callmay berequiredofthis position.
