Works in collaboration with supervising/collaborating provider or other providers to plan, implement, coordinate and evaluate health care for acute and chronic patients. Orders and interprets appropriate lab services and treatments.
Exercises judgment on any condition requiring consultation, referral or evaluation by the supervising/collaborating physician or other healthcare professionals. Provides staff and patient education as appropriate.
EDUCATION: Master of Science in Nursing or Doctorate of Science in Nursing or a Physician Assistant Degree from an accredited program.
EXPERIENCE: NP or PA experience in ENT, or a minimum of 5 years primary care NP or PA experience required.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: Physician Assistant license or Advanced Nurse Practitioner license, Certification in the State of Wisconsin and/or Illinois. BLS certified.
