In this key role, you will provide manufacturing engineering leadership throughout a new model development program. The Manufacturing Engineer in Advanced Feasibility will be responsible for all deliverables related to Interior Systems.
In this key role, you will provide manufacturing engineering leadership throughout a new model development program. The Manufacturing Engineer in Advanced Feasibility will be responsible for all deliverables related to Interior Systems.
Deliver Manufacturing Quality Operating System requirements for Interior Systems.
Collaborate with Product Development team to generate facility & tooling costs, improve quality, and reduce labor requirements.
Use virtual tools to evaluate the feasibility of new model designs for assembly operations. Confirm all product designs adhere to FAE standard manufacturing requirements.
Evaluate Significant and Critical Characteristics established by Product Engineers and develop Failure Mode Avoidance plan/documentation for New Model Programs.
Write/modify/maintain process sheets and deliver updated Cycle Line Layouts during development of manufacturing process
Lead identification, resolution, and closure of Final Assembly Engineering (FAE) feasibility issues
Review "Lessons Learned" from New Model launches and implement Prevent Reoccurrence Actions into future programs
Collaborate with multi-functional groups (Program Implementation Teams, Product Development, Supplier Technical Assistance, Material Planning & Logistics, New Model Programs)
