CDC has a full-time opportunity for an Advanced Dental Therapist at our Maplewood clinic. This position serves as an integral part of the clinical team in providing quality, caring clinical dentistry in a comfortable, culturally-sensitive environment. We are seeking providers who are passionate about our mission!

Advanced Dental Therapist Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive dental care with a focus on the health needs of the patients

• Provide a patient-centered approach and culturally competent care

• Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members

• Provide patient education in proper oral healthcare and various treatment options

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient electronic records

• Maintain compliance with state, federal and clinic guidelines and protocols

• Keep up with new developments within dentistry, continuing education and licensure

• Conduct oral evaluation and assessment of dental disease and the formation of an individualized treatment plan authorized by a collaborating dentist.

• Restorations of primary and permanent teeth

• Extractions of primary teeth

• Perform all delegated duties as allowed with the Board of Dentistry

Maplewood Clinic Hours:

• AM shift: Monday-Thursday 7:20am-2:30pm and Friday 7:20-12:00pm
• PM shift: Monday-Thursday 2:20pm-9:30pm and Friday 12:50pm-5:30pm
• A typical ADT schedule is a combination of AM and PM hours, and alternating Fridays

Advanced Dental Therapist Qualifications:

• Licensed with the MN Board of Dentistry

• CPR/AED Certificate

• Experience working with culturally diverse communities

• Demonstrated expertise in dental software

• Ability to quickly adapt within a fast-paced work environment

• Proficient on working with children of all ages
