The Compliance Assistant (CA) provides administrative support for interdepartmental projects led by the Compliance Department. The CA will provide support to the Compliance Officer with submissions to regulatory bodies and monitoring changes mandated throughout the organization, laws, and governmental polices. The CA will also be responsible for taking and distributing minutes from Compliance staff meetings. The CA will be responsible for confidential and time sensitive material. He/she will effectively communicate via phone and email ensuring that all Compliance Assistant duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.
Associate degree preferred.
Experience working with BPPE, IPEDS, USDOE preferred.
2 to 3 years of data-driven administrative or compliance experience.
Proficiency with Windows based PC system and a range of software packages, including personal computer word processing, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel.
Experience and knowledge operating and maintaining standard office equipment such as copier, fax, and printer.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines appropriately.

Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure proper documentation and data is received in a timely manner.
Process incoming calls and responds accordingly per company/department policy and procedures.
Maintaining a reporting reminder database, notifying departments of report due dates, and collaborating with the Compliance Officer to ensure all reports are received in a timely manner.
Create forms and letters, compile reports and various information regarding compliance and other projects as required.
Supporting the development of project work plans and monitoring progress towards objectives.
Providing analytical support including data entry, analysis and graphical representation of data using Microsoft Excel and editing and writing reports.
Maintaining an electronic filing system.
Scheduling meetings and maintaining an agenda planning log.
Preparing and distributing the agenda and meeting materials.
Taking, transcribing and ensuring completion of committee meetings.
Distributing meeting minutes to meeting participants as needed.
Proofreading documents, preparing correspondence, and completing college documentation as needed.
Maintaining all associated records.
Performs other duties as assigned.
