This is the start of something BIG! BayCare Medical Group has significant plans for primary care medicine in the rapidly growing Wesley Chapel area in Northeast Tampa. To get things started, we are seeking an experienced Primary Care APRN to join our team. The Nurse Practitioner will assist with seeing patients in the office to include treating new and follow up patients, acute visits and chronic management. The position will also include some hospital work, but will be minimal. Must be willing to float to two different offices in Wesley Chapel and must have at least 2 years of experience as an APRN.

The Advanced Care Practitoner (ACP) extends the services of physicians by providing assessment and management of patient care. Services that this position may provide include physical exams, interpreting diagnostic tests and counseling patients about treatment. This position may also provide coordination and clinical services across the continuum of care for patients, and also focuses on patient wellness and disease prevention. This position operates under physician directed protocols for all Advanced Care Practitioner duties.

ACP must obtain and maintain Medical Staff privileges as required by the position.
