FACULTY POSITION IN CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY - TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY. The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences (https://liberalarts.tamu.edu/psychology/) at Texas A&M University invites applications for a tenured faculty position in clinical psychology.

The position will be at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor, with an anticipated start date of Fall, 2019. We are interested in scholars conducting research in any area related to clinical psychology, and value innovation and excellence in methodological, quantitative, and computational approaches. This position will complement a world-class core of clinical researchers, many of whom participate in cross-cutting research concentrations in affective science, diversity science, and personality processes.

Applicants should have an outstanding record of research achievement, evidence of extramural research funding, and a strong commitment to undergraduate and graduate education. The successful candidate will contribute to our clinical Ph.D. program, which is APA-accredited and a member of PCSAS, and would teach undergraduate and graduate courses in their area of expertise. Preference will be given to individuals interested in serving as Director of Clinical Training, and leading efforts to strengthen and grow the program. A Ph.D. in psychology or a closely related field is required.

The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences is a community of scholars committed to generating scientific discoveries in the discipline, providing rigorous undergraduate and graduate education, and engaging in outreach about psychology and the application of psychological science. We offer doctoral programs in clinical psychology, cognition and cognitive neuroscience, social and personality psychology, industrial/organizational psychology, and behavioral and cellular neuroscience.

We currently have 48 full-time faculty, over 100 graduate students, and almost 1,500 undergraduate majors. Our research laboratories are housed in several new or renovated buildings, including a newly renovated Psychology Clinic that integrates training and research activities. We maintain collaborations with multiple local agencies, including the Texas A&M Institute for Preclinical Studies, the Texas A&M Institute for Neuroscience, and multiple clinics and psychological-service agencies.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in English or a relevant field and a substantial scholarly record in Early Modern Studies, and/or enumerative and/or annotated bibliography, and a proven record of accomplishment of managing large-scale digital projects. The successful candidate will become the editor of the World Shakespeare Bibliography (WSB) and lead the editorial team of this award-winning digital resource. The WSB works in close partnership with the Folger Shakespeare Library and the Folger Institute, of which Texas A&M is a Consortium Member; the WSB is currently published by the Folger Library in association with the Johns Hopkins University Press. The WSB also has strong ties with A&M's Center of Digital Humanities Research. The successful candidate will teach a 2/2 load, including undergraduate and graduate courses in Shakespeare as well as a range of courses, such as early modern literature, bibliography, and Digital Humanities.
