Be a member of the Strategic Analytics team within Harley-Davidson's Advanced Analytics group. This team is responsible for generating strategic insights from an array of internal and third-party data sources. These insights will uncover obstacles and fuel future growth opportunities for the H-D business. The ideal candidate has experience working cross-functionally, communicating complex ideas in a concise manner, and thinking outside the box.
Drive actionable insights into challenges and opportunities in support of strategy development
Present findings to Chief Strategy Officer and other Executives
Team with other leaders to drive impact through strategy-based consumer analytics and insight
Foster strong cross-functional relationships and external partnerships
Ensure insights are co-owned and advanced within the organization
Integrate cross-functional, cross-market and cross-category analytical insights into strategic thought leadership and actionable recommendations to influence business decisions
Develop, shape and deliver global integrated plans that are reflective of current needs and anticipate future needs of the business team
Identify knowledge gaps and hypotheses, prioritize and address key business issues
Serve as mentor and leader to Advanced Analytics peers
Bachelor's degree in engineering, math, science, business, or a related field. MBA desirable.
This position requires at least 8 years of full-time work experience in a strategic role. Sample strategic roles include consulting, corporate strategy, analytics, market research and consumer insights.
Proven business acumen and the ability to translate analytics into strategic implications
Demonstrated ability to synthesize large amounts of data and deliver strategic insights
Ability to work in and bring structure to highly ambiguous environments
Strong organizational and time management/prioritization skills
Demonstrated experience in integrating disparate sources of information into a coherent story
Ability to influence across the organization at multiple levels and build collaborative, productive relationships with internal business partners and external vendors
Team leader who knows what it takes to have an impact on an organization with experience leading teams and coaching people
