Advance Production Manager

Description:

Responsible for improving quality of performance of production teams.

o Ensure batchsheets are followed and correctly documented.

o Perform informal audits of batchsheets and reactions in process.

o Ensure training systems are adequate.

o Help investigations of off quality including implementation of corrective action.

o Development of production associates.

Conduct biannual reviews of production associates - operator level and warehouse associate(s).

Work with plant supply chain department to develop department run schedule.

Department inventory control and cycle counting.

Skills:

Production, Production management, chemical processing

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• B.S. Degree in Chemical Engineering

• If other engineering degree, they need to have Chemical experience

• Ability to take charge and lead

• Strong problem-solving

• Project Management experience would be beneficial

• someone from aerospace or military would do well in this role*
