PURPOSE

The Advanced Nurse Practitioner is responsible for conducting psychiatric examinations, prescribing and monitoring of psychotropic medications, and other consumer/patient related services, and completing associated documentation.

TASKS

  • Conduct psychiatric examinations and review collateral information of assigned patients in accordance with TDMHMR and guidelines, and Best Practices

  • Prescribe psychotropic medications using Center's formulary and Electronic Prescribing System (EPS), to treat psychiatric illness; order labs in accordance with Best Practice guidelines

  • Comply with Center's EMR requirements as established and modified from time to time

  • Complete physician's certificates or other documentation for involuntary treatment in accordance with applicable laws and the Mental Health Code

  • Perform Medicaid Administration Claiming (MAC) Time Study on a quarterly basis, and Participates in the Center's cost containment efforts

  • Conduct regular reviews (and revisions of as needed) of treatment plans and provides the DSM IV, 5 Axis diagnosis on all assigned patients as required by Program and regulatory protocols, which includes a review of DG1A data/form

  • Respond proactively with care to patients and families

  • Evaluate urgent psychiatric patients in a competent and timely manner

  • Complies with commitment laws 100% of the time

  • Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Current Texas RN Advanced Practice the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners, Texas Department of Public Safety Controlled Substance Registration Certificate (DPS), and U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency Substance Registration Certificate (DEA)

  • Completion of an accredited Psychiatric Residency Program

  • Must have working knowledge of the principles of the development, implementation, and documentation of individualized care and treatment

  • Must have working knowledge of State and Federal laws and professional standards related to psychiatric treatment

  • Must have ability to evaluate patients, set up and carry out an effective course of treatment utilizing the expertise of other clinical personnel with a minimum of direction

  • Must have proficiency with standard Microsoft Office applications and EMR systems

  • Must maintain required credentials and mandatory training requirements to ensure compliance with all State regulations and CHCS policies

  • Must maintain a valid drivers license and automobile insurance coverage, be able to travel as needed, and be able to meet on a consistent basis the driving record requirements of the Companys auto insurance carrier if you drive your vehicle during company business

  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements to complete SAMA and CPR training including lifting up to 12 lbs. and supporting up to 55 lbs.; bending, stooping and getting on and off the floor without assistance.

  • Must have adequate mobility that requires frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching (vertical and horizontal), using fingers, hands, feet, legs and torso in various care. The employee must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and occasionally must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee must be able to occasionally transfer a consumer.

Compensation Package

Salary Range: Min $84,800.00 Max $127,200.00 Per Year

VIEW JOBS 5/14/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-08-12T00:00 Advance Quality Engineer or Senior Advance Quality Engineer Scope of the Position This position provides an opportunity to join our team as a Quality Engineer or Senior Quality Engineer for our new program launch - Texas business segment. As the Advance Quality Engineer for our TG Texas region, you will work with TGTX leadership team and other functional areas to drive the organization's focus on new program launch (including any carry-over part number launch), build talent, improve quality processes to ensure all launches are in accordance with the TGTX quality requirements and meet customer quality/reliability expectations. The candidate will have a major role to ensure program quality commitments are met and implement required adjustments to ensure the TGTX organization is positioned to meet future customer quality commitments and expectations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Drive and lead all program quality activities including PPAP & APQP processes and supplier performance development processes (SPDP) * Teach, coach and lead suppliers utilizing the APQP tools available to drive both advanced quality planning and production activities. Key Stakeholders Meetings; Technical Reviews; PPAP and Run@Rate Processes; TGTX Problem Solver/Cost Recovery etc * Support prototype builds and data collection and reporting of builds. * Function as liaison between Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Suppliers, and Customers to provide a proactive approach that fosters on-time, flawless product launches; resolve existing quality issues and drive quality improvements * Use quality tools, metrics and data to identify and drive quality improvements. Proactively work with Customers and suppliers before and during manufacturing process to ensure successful execution; resulting in on time delivery and high quality components to our Customers * Conduct supplier manufacturing capability assessments as appropriate and develop action plans to close gaps * Conduct supplier audits to drive process standardization, waste elimination, and continuous improvement * Maintain and update critical supplier audit system and schedule * Work with both our Customers and suppliers to improve product and process quality and lead cross functional team in failure analysis and evaluate suppliers' corrective actions. * Assist selective suppliers in their journey to becoming lean, as well as, strengthen the relationship between the two companies * Communicate critical supplier quality issues and improvement plan to TGTX leadership as required. * Review nonconformance reports for correlations to identify high-risk, recurring, or systemic issues and develop mitigation plans. * Champion problem solving and root cause analysis activities with suppliers to eliminate recurrence of repeat problems cases * Understand Customer processes and supplier processes, and process validations to assure internal and external processes are adequate to meet specification and produce quality components * Responsible for compiling and assisting in reporting on launch quality performance statistics * Proactive communication mechanism from our Customers and suppliers to collect both our customer and supplier feedback that may reduce costs and improve quality * Drive Zero Defect mentality within the supply base. * Follow and adhere to all corporate and business segment policies and procedures. * Other Launch Quality related duties as business conditions require * Travel to supplier and Customer sites as needed.
