The Adult Day Program Staff is responsible for providing daily activities within an adult day program for each individual to support and provide instruction for individual growth, a sense of community and instruction in independent living skills.# He or she is responsible for instructing consumer's vocational living skills, socialization skills, recreational and leisure skills and functional communication skills.# These instructional objectives will be part of the consumer's Individualized Service Plan (ISP) and instruction in the day program will be the Adult Day Program Staff's primary responsibility.# The day schedule will be 7:30a.m. " 4:00p.m; Monday - Friday. # Basic Qualifications # Education/Training: #High School Diploma required, or Associate's Degree in Education, Human Service Field, or Psychology preferred.# Certifications/Licensure:# A valid US driver's license and a minimum age of twenty-one (21) years old.# Must be capable of attaining approved Melmark driver status.# Must meet Massachusetts Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) background check requirements.
