Who We Are Looking for:

We are seeking a full time ADP & Benefits Administrator. This role is an ADP expert with a superhero cape, working with Human Resources team members, organizational leaders, employees and external vendors to support HR business practices and to provide a user-friendly experience. They must have a keen understanding of testing, research, and implementation plans. You might be the right person for this role if you love processes, collaboration, guiding and training people on these processes, and are extremely accurate and detail-driven in everything you do. You have to be comfortable stepping into a lean HR team and being largely self-directed. The ideal candidate has to be able to balance getting minimal instruction while using available internal and external resources to problem solve, meet reoccurring deadlines, and craft both technical and people-driven solutions.

We serve a diverse group of hiring managers. You must have a strongly developed Customer Service Mindset. This includes employing an arsenal of soft-skills, including diplomacy, tact, and at times taking a firm stance with policy and procedures.

Your Duties Would Include:

  • Supports HR system implementations, configurations, upgrades and enhancements.

  • Writes and maintains a variety of simple to complex reports and queries; creates standard, scheduled and ad hoc reports for ongoing department needs.

  • Acts as primary contact for Performance Review Management in ADP.

  • Will provide training to hiring managers on processes and improvements.

  • Reviews, tests and implements HRIS upgrades and/or patches.

  • Provides support and fixes for ADP problems, unexpected results or process flaws.

  • Responsible for the Electronic I-9 process in ADP.

  • Conducts routine Audits of employee data to ensure integrity and accuracy.

  • Assists in the administration of employee recognition programs.

  • Performs ongoing Employee records management. Processes pay changes and new hire entries and audits.

  • Responsible for New Hire Packet and onboarding process.

  • Processes monthly benefit billing statements, benefit eligibility packets and works directly with Third Party Vendors to ensure benefit enrollment accuracy. This includes Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Accident and COBRA plans.

  • Administrative tasks as needed; filing, event planning, mailings, and occasional supply ordering.

Education and Experience

  • 2+ years in advanced ADP experience

  • 2+ years in Human Resource environment, bonus points for a multi-locational organization with many hiring managers and a high volume of hires.

  • 2+ years of working with an ATS, bonus points if familiar with Clear Company, and/or an ATS/ADP integration.

  • Microsoft Office proficient- heavy use of Excel and Word Required

  • Bachelors Degree preferred

As an ESD WorkSource Administrator, you are responsible for the operational oversight and delivery of agency services and programs, including performance, compliance, adherence to policies and laws, development of staff through coaching training and practice, and fiscal and budgetary resource management. The WorkSource Pierce Office is a One-Stop Job Center and the Administrator will work collaboratively and closely with the One-Stop Center Manager to ensure delivery of all employment services. The WorkSource Pierce service delivery environment features knowledge workers who prescribe to quality customer service, continuous learning, and continuous improvement. Equally important will be your ability to build and manage effective and robust partnerships between WorkSource and the Workforce Development Council (WDC) in support of developing an integrated service delivery system. This will require that you have excellent diplomacy skills in order to maintain positive working relationships with key stakeholders, partners and governing entities.
