Key Responsibilities include:

The Security and Transportation Technician ensures the safety and security of the hospital buildings and grounds, its patients, employees and guests. The Security and Transportation Technician also provides safe, efficient transportation services to patients of Lakeside Behavioral Health System.

Bachelors Degree in Psychology or related field highly preferred; or high school diploma.

One-year experience working with a psychiatric patient population and or security preferred.

Valid Driver License

Basic reading and writing ability; knowledge of typical safety and security procedures; sound judgment and decision-making skills; skills in crisis management or in implementing emergency response procedures; trustworthiness; basic customer service skills

and telephone etiquette. Familiarity with basic automotive maintenance; basic auto repair skills, such as ability to change flat tire, ability to check fluid levels and add fluids, ability to check tire inflation, etc.; ability to operate wheelchair lift.

Responsibilities for these positions include: * Assists in the analysis of reports, maps, drawings, and tests, in order to plan and design projects * Use computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents. * Assists in the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plans, permits, and designs for project * Assists in client contact and communication, and attends client meetings * Performs other duties as required Education/Experience Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university * EIT Certification required * 0 - 4 years' experience * Experience using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation is a plus * Ability to read, analyze, and interpret job-related manuals and documents * Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite * Strong interpersonal/communication skills * Ability to work in a fast paced-collaborative team atmosphere with an established group of surveyors, engineers, scientists, and administrative staff.
