Admissions Support II is primarily responsible for identifying and developing appropriate admissions to the program. Will coordinate center activities to promote public awareness of services provided by the Center. Will serve as liaison between state, municipal, industrial and community organizations to strengthen interaction and promulgate the program activities of the Center.
Responds to helpline calls and works directly with potential patients and their families to facilitate appropriate and timely referrals into treatment. This will include follow-up calls, letters, and emails.
Verify benefits with various insurance providers to appropriately calculate the cost for admission.
Facilitates upfront collections and ensures all admitting consents and other forms are correctly signed.
Serves as a catalyst in the educational endeavors of the community with involvement on municipal, state, federal agencies, committees, commissions and departments in their structured programs of prevention, education, referral, treatment and rehabilitation.
Contact employers, attorneys, judges, doctors, etc. to ensure that all pertinent patient information is gathered for their initial intake and to assist in making appropriate aftercare transitioning.
Accurately input patient demographics (name, DOB, insurance, ID, etc.) into HMS and Salesforce to help monitor all former, current, and potential patients for billing, marketing and many other purposes.
Working with the nursing and clinical teams to help track the current bed list and monitor the upcoming discharges to stay proactive in the bed rotation/fill-up.
Arrange transportation to and from MRC via, planes, bus, trains etc.
Suggests improvement of services.
