This position will be responsible for processing inquiries from prospective students, contacting and assessing the level of interest of potential students for the School of Education and Human Development (SEHD), and supporting the Executive Director of Strategic Communications and Marketing in generating new applications and ultimately driving new enrollments to the school with operational excellence and digital marketing expertise.
Incumbent will have daily interaction with prospective students in person, via email, social media, and over the telephone. Incumbent will support the efforts to improve potential student satisfaction and success. Individual must possess high energy, flexibility in coping with change, and have a results-driven work ethic as well as a keen understanding of drivers of student success. As directed by the ED, the position will sometime take direction from the team's Digital Strategy Lead with respect to the utilization and reporting of the Salesforce database and other digital tools.
Essential Job Functions
Utilize CRM (Salesforce) system for accurate and thorough tracking and accurate reporting of student recruitment activities including the documentation of contacts with all prospective applicants and students; Create and maintain communications tools such as email templates, text/chat responses, department's e-packets, etc.
Respond to inbound communications from a pipeline of leads/inquiries.
Proactively communicate with prospective students via email, WhatsApp/WeChat, text, chat, phone, and other mediums.
Develop relationships with prospective students and applicants in an effort to recruit the most qualified students through the use of effective consultative sales skills.
Consistently and timely follow up with students in the Applicant Journey; ensure that all required documents are received and application is completed; coordinate transition from application to admissions with Program Directors as well with the Offices of Graduate and Undergraduate Studies.
Provide information on basic immigration regulations to applicants as required.
Customer Service Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact and customer service representative to prospective students and families; provide consistent, accurate, and timely information about the SEHD programs.
Respond to inquiries via telephone.
Work the general inquiry email inbox; respond to inquiries and transfer all inquiries to Salesforce on a daily basis; forward to program administrators as appropriate.
Establish and maintain an extremely high level of knowledge regarding programs, services, processes and policies in order to provide accurate and comprehensive information to prospective students and their families.
Work closely with program staff to update knowledge on academic programs, features/benefits, student services, market conditions and competitor activities.
Effectively communicate industry trends, quality of leads, and program updates for appropriate cross-functional

Qualifications and Experience
At least a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Minimum one to three years of experience in admissions, enrollment, recruitment, marketing and/or
sales, customer service, account management or relationship building required, preferably in higher
e.g., Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and social/chat applications, e.g. What's App, WeChat; Working
knowledge of Microsoft Office software required.

Fluency in English required; Additional language skills highly desirable.
