Hiring a Full-Time Admission RN in the following territories: Oak Lawn, Palos Hills & Palos Heights, Olympia Fields, Orland Park, South Holland, Homewood

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited registered nursing program

• Licensed as a registered nurse in the state of practice

• Must possess current CPR Certification

• 1 year of Hospice experience, preferred

• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant

• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with patients, family members, visitors, agency personnel, and the general public

• Must be knowledgeable of quality assessment and assurance procedures

• Spanish speaking, a plus

HOURS: Monday-Friday (3) 12-hour/shift - 10AM-10:30PM plus two weekend shifts/month

TERRITORY: Oak Lawn, Palos Hills & Palos Heights, Olympia Fields, Orland Park, South Holland, Homewood

What You'll Do:

• Perform pre-admission evaluations for the appropriateness of services.

• Initiates the admission process by educating and informing patients/families of its services.

• Obtains informed consent

• Provides nursing assessment, initial plan of care, and intervention(s) that optimize patient and family-directed comfort and quality of life.
