Monday-Friday; 8:00am-4:30pm
Rock Island, IL
The Admission Representative assumes responsibility for developing, implementing and recommending strategies for recruitment and admissions-related operations, on and off campus. The Admission Representative must comply with program and College admission policies; maintain a high level of accuracy and possess excellent verbal and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
Student Recruitment
Executes recruitment activities that consistently generate new, high quality referrals to College programs
Promotes and organizes various recruitment events such as campus tours, shadows, open houses and off site events for prospective students
Works cooperatively with local higher education entities, primary and secondary institutions of education, businesses and organizations
Serves on College committees and participates on special projects teams
Collaborates with all College stakeholders and supports College-wide activities
Admissions Advising and Processing
Conducts significant interpersonal communication and correspondence with prospective and accepted students throughout the recruitment and enrollment process
Provides accurate, complete and timely pre-admission advising; assists prospective students in completing all admission steps and makes appropriate referrals to College services
Facilitates/Assists with new student orientation as a transitional service from recruit to currently enrolled student
Collaborates with staff and program coordinators in ensuring recruiting and admission forms, materials and promotional pieces are accurate and prospective student friendly
Data Collection
Maintains complete applicant files
Measures overall student satisfaction of recruitment events, process and services
Completes activity/recruitment and prospective student conversion reports
Assists Admissions Subcommittee with completed application files
Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor's Degree in related field

Experience:
Higher education work experience
Previous experience in college admissions and recruiting
Experience with student information systems
License(s)/Certification(s):
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Information processing skills
Verbal and interpersonal skills
Ability to function within FERPA requirements
Other:
Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position.
