Provides clinical, training & informational services to the community and Illinois Institue for Addiction Recovery (IIAR). Provides marketing and networking for all IIAR locations. Provides assessment services in the community & develops referral sources to the IIAR.

1.Provides Marketing and Networking across locations for the IIAR

  • Works with Executive Director of Addiction and Medical Director in developing marketing plan

  • Coordinates the implementation of the marketing plan; collects referral data and works with the Executive

Director to analyze the data;

  • Monitors the effectiveness of the plan and makes suggestions to modify as needed

  • Ensures active involvement with professional contacts, health fairs, trade shows, conferences and other events

that cultivate referrals; tracks referral results

  • Assists in development of pamphlets and other marketing related materials and ensures adequate inventory is

on hand

  • Monitors the effectiveness and continued development of CRM
    2.Provides oversight to Assessments and Admissions

  • Works with the Program Manager in assessing and admitting process for the unit and removing barriers for admission

  • Ensures employer/school/physician contacts occur following admissions to all service areas

  • Ensure appropriate contact with all types of patients

  • Develop and maintain conversion rates to admit patients
    3.Provides supervision and oversight of the Corporate Service Clinicians and the Admission Specialist

  • Coordinates and organizes activities of all corporate services clinicians and admissions specialists to ensure adequate, non-duplicative functioning of this team; assigns health fairs and other activities to appropriate staff, utilizing their strengths

  • Maintains ongoing supervision and communication with corporate services clinicians and admission specialists

  • Ensures appropriate data is gathered by corporate services clinicians to assist in analysis of marketing plan's effectiveness

  • Assists corporate services clinicians and admissions specialists in providing appropriate referral information to potential patients/family members; assists in pre-admission/admission process for patients/families

  • Evaluates staff performance
    4.Provides community education

  • Cultivates training opportunities for the community and professionals

  • Ensures all aspects of training (e.g., written materials, logistics such as location, room, presenters, materials, etc) are addressed completely and professionally

  • Develops an annual training calendar

  • Ensures community education events are well attended

  • Tracks referral results from such events


  • Education

A Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Addictions, Social Work or Psychology required.

  • Work Experience

Must have control over personal use of all mood altering chemicals and behaviors.If recovering from an addiction, must currently have a minimum of 11 year of uninterrupted recovery and must actively treat this addiction by appropriate recovery practices including, but not limited to, regular attendance & participation in Twelve Step Fellowship or other recognized recovery processes such as active participation in church, appropriate support network, etc.3-5 years of experience in/with marketing, business development preferred.3-5 years of experience in/with direct clinical service (addiction, social work, or psychology) preferred.

  • License and Certification
  • . Must acquire one addiction-related credential like the CARS or CADC offered by the Illinois Certification Board when eligible.

If Masters level or Masters prepared, must become licensed and obtain one addiction-related credential when eligible.Must have a valid Illinois Driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record. An unacceptable driving record is defined as: More than 3 moving violations and/or accidents in the most recent 3 years, more than 2 moving violations and/or accidents in the most recent year, and drivers with a "major conviction" within the last 5 years (DWI OR DUI, leaving the scene of an accident, careless or reckless driving violations, making a false accident report, reckless homicide, manslaughter or assault arising out of the use of a vehicle, driving while license is suspended/revoked, and attempting to elude an police officer)

This includes fully understanding the client's business and marketing objectives and an ability to identify appropriate SGSCO resources to meet the client's needs. This position will represent SGSCO for assigned accounts and/or retailers through vendor content fulfillment and compliance. This is inclusive of initiating vendor communications, securing vendor participation agreements, assisting vendors with content requirements, and effectively monitoring the compliance of retailer requests. This is achieved through the successful collaboration, communication and monitoring of assigned account and retailer initiatives. Position Responsibilities: * Perform as a vendor consult and liaison for assigned retailer initiatives through all related product requests, contract acquisitions, and related follow-through. * Successfully and professionally communicate verbally and/or via email with vendors ensuring understanding of required deliverables. * Maintain adequate knowledge of all ongoing initiatives to serve as a consultant to prospective national clients. * Effectively qualify sales leads based on conversations and communicate accordingly to Kwikee Sales team for necessary follow-up and conversion to national contracts. * Effectively implement the necessary tracking to manage progress and communicate ongoing status to meet retailer and organizational expectations. * Overseeing customer account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements to maximize profit. * Manage all communication, strategy and pricing activities for small-to-medium Kwikee national accounts. * Effectively update/maintain CRM client records to achieve necessary organizational communication needs. * Meet defined monthly sales goals/quotas as defined by business needs and opportunities. * Involve functional expertise in all areas requiring key decisions and or at risk initiatives related to vendor and retailer expectations. * Manage Manufacturer / Retailer customer product/content request lists and ensure the necessary compliance and follow through.(Retailer lists are so rare is this worth including as part of the job description?) * Resolve necessary conflict or problems putting initiatives/projects at risk. * Facilitate necessary weekly meetings with key vendors and Retailer customers and/or status reports as required by the Retailer customers. Key Expectations: * Exercise proper time management skills to achieve effective results in planning and execution. * Professionally own outcomes and authority as related to controlling a successful outcome. * Keep Manager apprised of any progress or obstacles requiring escalation. * Keep sales and client service team members up to date on any issues or changes necessary in effectively completing assigned initiatives/projects. * Facilitate and coordinate with other sales counterparts and team members as necessary on any opportunities within assigned accounts and prospects.
