Assists in the school's rolling admissions process (including re-enrollment), fostering ongoing relationships with local feeder schools, maintaining a strong community presence, and providing superior customer service to the internal and external customers of the school.


  • Provides superior customer service to all internal and external customers of the school.

  • Uses local marketing strategy to generate and retain enrollment.

  • Timely answers inquiries (in-person, via email or via phone) according to NLCI established sales programs consistent with Parent Centered Salas Approach (PCSA). Provides tours using PCSA program techniques. Ensures all inquiries are entered into NetSuite.

  • Maintains proactive and positive relationships with parents and prospective parents.

  • Demonstrates and uses knowledge of community demographics to market continually and creatively.

  • Capitalizes on local opportunities to establish positive NLCI presence in the community and maintains a strong community presence.

  • Establishes and maintains an ongoing relationship with local NLCI feeder schools.

  • Oversees Open House(s) and other admissions initiatives.

  • Communicates with faculty with regard to enrollments.

  • Provide administrative assistance; i.e., following up with families via email and telephone, filing applications, etc.

  • Process & provide statistical data for reporting purposes (including activity reports and follow up).

  • Assists in maintaining a safe, clean, attractive school and classroom environment conducive to learning.

  • Works with the Principal to create an effective leadership team.

  • Builds effective relationships with other administrators, corporate and office staff.

  • Demonstrates high degree of integrity and honesty, including but not limited to confidentiality of company, student, family, and employee information as required by both company policy and federal and state laws.


  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.

  • Three (3) years of previous admissions, sales, marketing and/or school administrative experience preferred.

  • Sales and/or marketing experience.

  • Knowledge of school policies and procedures.

  • Knowledge of general office etiquette.

  • Possession of valid driver's license.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Admissions software required

ROLE of the POSITION Reporting to the Associate Director for Undergraduate Recruitment, the position of Assistant Director for Undergraduate Recruitment provides leadership, coordination and evaluation for one or more broad objectives contained within the undergraduate recruitment and admissions plan. Under the direction of the Director and Associate Director, the Assistant Director will be responsible for assisting in researching, developing and implementing detailed recruitment plans, strategies and tactics for the recruitment of prospective students to UNLV. The incumbent will also supervise and evaluate a team of full-time staff and/or student employees who are responsible for planning and managing or supporting recruitment activities in assigned territories or for assigned populations. In addition, the Assistant Director will also be responsible planning and managing recruitment activities in an assigned region(s). The Assistant Director will maintain a high level of internal and external public contact serving as a liaison between the Office of Admissions, various academic units, other organizations within the University and with public constituents. The Assistant Director (and team) is responsible for outreach efforts for the recruitment of prospective students to the University. These efforts include, but are not limited to, the following: admissions presentations, workshops for prospective students and families, participating in on- and off-campus recruitment events to provide admission assistance/guidance, meeting with prospective students and families on campus, making calls to prospects and inquiries for admission counseling and proactively communicating with admitted students to encourage and ensure matriculation. The incumbent will also make determinations regarding eligibility for admissions based on knowledge and experience of records, transcripts, NSHE policies and official documents in making evaluations against the appropriate criterion; and recommending educational goals and admission requirements to potential students. This position is also responsible for providing leadership in carrying out special initiatives as assigned by the Director or Associate Director. The Assistant Director will be expected to travel both in and out of state and work irregular hours. QUALIFICATIONS This position requires a Master's Degree from a regionally accredited college or university and 2-3 years of comparable supervisory experience. Credentials must be obtained prior to the start of employment. SALARY RANGE Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. Position is contingent upon funding.
