Saint Anne Center, part of Ascension Living, is looking for a dynamic Admissions Coordinator to join the team! Conveniently located in a vibrant Rockford area, close to public transportation, this 179-bed community offers short-term rehabilitation and long-term skilled nursing care. Opened in 1986, Saint Anne Center was Rockford's first Catholic nursing home, whose legacy as a cornerstone of compassionate care continues today.

1.0 FTE; Exempt

Hours: 8 AM to 4:30 PM

Some weekend and holiday hours may be required

What You Will Do

As an Admissions Coordinator with Ascension Senior Living, you will have the opportunity to recruit qualified clients/residents from various sources up to the capacity of the facility. Coordinates all aspects of admission and discharge.

Responsibilities:

  • Markets to appropriate health and related entities, including but not limited to hospitals, home care and hospice as well as the broader community.

  • Oversees requests for tours and all admission inquiries. Maintains, updates and distributes accurate facility census data and other pertinent statistics. Oversees, reviews, organizes and assesses all pertinent information regarding appropriate resident placement.

  • Assists with daily operations, including hiring, staffing, scheduling, assigning of work to staff, and monitoring the operations of assigned areas.

  • Assesses the continuing quality focus of services to residents, families, associates, internal and external customers. Facilitates planning and implementation of activities to ensure effective functioning and customer satisfaction.

What You Will Need

Required Credentials

  • HS Diploma, GED or equivalent

Preferred Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field

  • Thorough knowledge of Senior Living/Housing and referral sources

  • Sales experience within the Senior Living market

  • Proven experience that includes marketing strategy and tactics, sales techniques and sales systems

  • Consultative sales skills

Qualifications * Potential candidate must possess a high school diploma and at least 3 years' experience in Health Care Sales, Marketing, Insurance or commensurate education. * Must be proficient in writing reports, business correspondence and policy procedure manuals. * Must be able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in statistical or diagram form. * Demonstrate ability to function independently and possess strong leadership skills. * Establish and maintain positive relations with members, families, staff and visitors. * Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
