The Admissions and Recruitment Coordinator will collaborate in activities of the existing recruitment and outreach at ASU Prep. The primary responsibility in this results-driven position, will be to plan, coordinate, and carry out recruitment, enrollment, yield, and retention goals as well as strategic initiatives in collaboration with ASU Prep. The Admissions and Recruitment Coordinator possesses a broad range of professional expertise in community engagement, recruitment, and marketing/ communications. The Admissions and Recruitment Coordinator is a passionate, strategic, doer who comfortably collaborates with diverse faculty, and leadership at ASU Prep. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Public Administration, Communication preferred.

  • Three to four (3 -4) years of experience in recruitment, marketing, sales, customer service, student enrollment, or related experience.

  • Ability to read, speak, and/or write in Spanish.

  • Active AZ Department of Public Safety (DPS) IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

  • Any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan and staff recruitment events as needed with members of the community, schools, and network staff.

  • Participate in all student recruitment activities for ASU Prep Academy in support of meeting enrollment goals.

  • Enhance successful recruitment and outreach efforts to increase interest from prospective students.

  • Design, implement and execute recruitment and outreach strategies that will influence and increase student enrollment and retention.

  • Develop new recruitment and outreach initiatives.

  • Collaborate with campus staff, leadership and marketing teams on recruitment strategies unique to their site.

  • Collaborate with marketing teams internal and external to ASU Prep.

  • Consult with families on required materials and forms needed during the admission process.

  • Support Admissions Team with recruitment calls and family communication, as needed.

  • Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of current applicable federal, state, school district laws, codes, and regulations related to the area of student enrollment and confidentiality.

  • Ability to present and speak to KPIS data and metrics to executive leadership.

  • Knowledge of Student Information Systems and Learning Management Systems.

  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle diverse tasks simultaneously using prioritization.

  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to interact with diverse audiences.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and results-driven focus.

  • Knowledge of K-12 school setting.

  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations to large groups.

  • Knowledge of student recruitment and retention.

  • Experience using Google Drive including Forms and Sheets.

  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.

Frequent travel may be required for site visits, meetings, trainings and/or conferences. Locations may vary and may require overnight stays.
