This position is responsible for scheduling appointments received by phone, fax, electronic or in person. They are responsible for verifying insurance, assuring that registrations are completed with accurate data. They are responsible for initiating referrals and financially securing accounts.
1.Age 18-years or older.
2.Associates degree in business related field preferred
3.One year admitting experience and/ or health insurance experience.
4.Demonstrated understanding of revenue cycle management and the ability to collect co-payments and present fiscal information in a professional confidential manner.
5.Demonstrated computer aptitude must know at a minimum word and excel.
6.Demonstrated customer service skills.
7.Demonstrated verbal/written communication skills.
8.Ability to meet minimum keyboarding, 30wpm.
9.Ability to discuss financial obligations with patients in a professional and confidential manner.
10. Adhere to all Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital policies.
11. Maintains consistent and reliable attendance.
12. Ability and willingness to cover all patient access areas as needed.
