POSITION: Admission Financial Representative Float

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: 1.0 FTE (80 hrs/pay period)

WORK SCHEDULE: Days/Evenings/Nights

DEPARTMENT: Patient Access

JOB SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for scheduling appointments received by phone, fax, electronic or in person. They are responsible for verifying insurance, assuring that registrations are completed with accurate data. They are responsible for initiating referrals and financially securing accounts.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1.Age 18-years or older.
2.Associates degree in business related field preferred
3.One year admitting experience and/ or health insurance experience.
4.Demonstrated understanding of revenue cycle management and the ability to collect co-payments and present fiscal information in a professional confidential manner.
5.Demonstrated computer aptitude must know at a minimum word and excel.
6.Demonstrated customer service skills.
7.Demonstrated verbal/written communication skills.
8.Ability to meet minimum keyboarding, 30wpm.
9.Ability to discuss financial obligations with patients in a professional and confidential manner.
10. Adhere to all Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital policies.
11. Maintains consistent and reliable attendance.
12. Ability and willingness to cover all patient access areas as needed.

JOB SUMMARY: Supervise work activities of cleaning personnel to ensure clean, orderly, and attractive facilities. Assign duties, inspect work, and investigate complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment and take corrective action. May purchase housekeeping supplies and equipment, take periodic inventories, screen applicants, train new employees, and recommend dismissals. QUALIFICATIONS: 1. High school graduate or equivalent. Post secondary education desired. 2. Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal and teambuilding skills 3. 2+ years of supervisory experience required; health care setting preferred. 4. Previous cleaning experience preferred. 5. Knowledge of sanitary/safety standards 6. Basic to intermediate computer skills preferred 7. Demonstrated ability to follow and adhere to Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital policies, vision, mission and values. 8. Maintains reliable and consistent attendance.
