The Speech and Hearing Sciences Department has an outstanding opportunity for an Administrator to join their team.

We in the UW Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences need someone with skill, intelligence and tact to provide us with administrative and financial leadership in the challenging years to come.

In this role you will report to the Chair of the Department and be responsible for managing the daily operations of a dynamic and diverse department that includes 26 permanent faculty members, 12 staff members, nearly 100 undergraduate majors and 130 graduate students. With general direction from the Department Chair, the Administrator acts independently and ensures that University policies and procedures are followed. Those responsibilities include general administration, business planning, financial management, personnel, facilities support, research project support, development, and other functions as necessary.
RESPONSIBILITIES
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree. At least six years of experience budgeting and planning in positions of increasing complexity and responsibility in education, government or a not-for-profit setting.
Additional Requirements:
Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum requirements.
