The points below highlight the Timekeeping Administrator duties:

  • Reviews the missing punch list daily, determines actual time worked, and enters correct punches into the Time & Attendance

  • Enters badge ID numbers for all new employees and temp labors

  • Adds and maintains schedule templates and shift differentials

  • Reports to IT via ticketing system any software issues or time clock issues and ensures that time system clocks are operating properly

  • Establishes schedules and performs time system daily maintenance, including resolving any system polling and posting problems

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency

  • Minimum 1 year of related experience and/or training

  • Experience with payroll system of record (preferably Kronos)

  • PC literate to include Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Ability to occasionally life and/or move up to 25 pounds

The successful HRD HR Representative will provide administrative support for general clerical responsibilities for DC Human Resources such as; answering phone calls, managing calendars, managing personnel files and event planning. Additionally, the HRD HR Representative provides administrative support for specific Human Resources programs and initiatives, as well as, business related programs and initiatives. The HRD HR Representative will also perform Transactional Talent type work for the ECDC. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Generate reports and metric data needed by HRD * Exempt and some non-exempt personnel file management * HRD travel and calendar management * Process exempt-level separations * Assist with Event Planning * Support the HRD with vendor relationship management * Maintain HR related bulletin boards and electronic sign messaging * ESAT planning and coordination * External Interpreter requests for translations needs * Exempt Focal Review & Mid-Year Review support & tracking for the HRD * Non-exempt Focal review preparation, support and tracking * Various Transactional Talent HR related work to include Staffing support * Orientations, on-boarding & off-boarding support COMPETENCIES: * Organizing * Customer Focus * Priority Setting * Approachability * Communication * Action Oriented * Integrity & Trust * Composure QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED: * High School Graduate (or equivalent), college preferred * 5 years Administrative Assistant experience, preferably in Human Resources * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Intermediate Level or higher with Word & Excel * Proficiency with web-based applications such as; PeopleSoft, KRONOS, etc. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA: No unusual physical requirements.
