This position is integral to ensuring seamless program operations and compliance with legal, legislative, and regulatory standards.

Candidates will thrive in a collaborative atmosphere focused on delivering impactful, evidence-based services. # Administrator of Program Services Requirements Juris Doctorate, Education, Family Services, Counseling, or related field preferred Master#s degree in ABA or related field preferred Knowledge of Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education guidelines Prefer seven to ten years of experience with specialized populations and managing admissions # Administrator of Program Services Responsibilities Conduct pre-screenings, screenings, and assessments of applications for admissions Manage waiting lists, census, admissions paperwork, and contracts Update application forms, referral tracking system, and screening procedures Act as the first contact for program inquiries and conduct tours Schedule and chair all team meetings, facilitate the team process, and maintain relationships with school districts Write diagnostic plans, IEP amendments, and educate parents on rights and advocacy skills Initiate discharge and transition processes, evaluate placements, and develop transition plans Coordinate licensing surveys and ensure compliance with DDS, DPH, DESE, and DEEC regulations Assist families with guardianship and SSI documentation Stay current with state and federal legislation and policy, providing feedback on potential impacts Participate in professional conferences representing Melmark New England Participate in the development and monitoring of a Quality Assurance System Complete special requests and projects as directed by the Executive Director or Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) Conduct oneself in accordance with the Code of Ethics and The Right to Effective Behavioral Treatment (JABA, 1988) # Administrator of Program Services Benefits Work with a nationally known leader in quality-driven initiatives Generous Paid Time Off Benefits including Vacation, Holiday, and Sick!   • The Administrator of Program Services is the primary person responsible for overseeing the referral and admissions process to Melmark New England. This will include assessing applications, conducting pre-screenings and screenings of referrals, meeting parents and school districts to discuss the program services, leading bi-weekly admission reviews with senior team members, providing screening results to the Senior Director of School Services and Chief Clinical Officer, managing waiting lists and census, and overseeing admissions paperwork.

  • This position is also responsible for discharge and transition planning for the students who leave Melmark New England prior to 22 years of age and for those students who graduate to adult services. Position responsibilities in this area of need would include initiating the discharge and transition process, locating and evaluating discharge placements, advocating for inclusion placements, overseeing the development of transition plans, scheduling and assisting with the training of public school staff or staff from adult vendors.

  • Additional position responsibilities will include participating in clinical task forces per the direction of the Chief Clinical Officer, participating as a senior member at research meetings and facilitating a clinical role in the first 90 day placement of students within the Early Childhood Program. Other diverse duties that assist in the overall support to the Melmark New England program will be identified by the Executive Director or the Chief Clinical Officer.
