Systems Engineering Group, Inc. (SEG) has a job opening for a Full Time Industrial Security Administrator in our Columbia, MD office.

Primary Duties:

  • Classified Document Control procedures, including receiving, processing, and assigning DCNs to classified materials; reproducing, transmitting and destruction of classified materials.

  • Knowledgeable of the NISPOM and DSS security requirements.

  • Wrapping and Shipping Classified Material in accordance with NISPOM.

  • Log-in and track classified materials in the ISMSi database.

  • Inventory all classified documents and materials maintained in the SEG facility.

  • Conducts internal "spot audits" of all employees with classified material charged out to them.

  • Assist in changing lock combinations on safes and doors to classified areas.

  • Conduct office and facility perimeter control inspections.

  • Escort visitors and maintenance personnel throughout the SEG facility.

  • Assist Security/Facility Manager in Physical Facility Security, to include, movement of security equipment and furniture.

  • Assist in managing a DOD SCIF with knowledge of SCI material control and providing SCI Briefings.

  • Assist in Facility Self-Inspections in accordance with NISPOM and DSS requirements.

  • Performs other duties as directed by Security Manager/Facility Security Officer (FSO).

Secondary Duties:

  • Assist in Visitor Control duties, foreign and domestic. This includes processing of Visitor Authorization Request forms and interfacing with various US Government agencies and customers.

  • Takes employee photographs and make employee ID badges.

  • Assist with Receptionist duties, to include issuing visitor and employee ID badges.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

EXPERIENCE: 6-8 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

ACTIVE DoD Clearance required.

Knowledge of PC's and software such as MS Word and Excel

Must be familiar with US Government security requirements.
