Enterprise's Contract Administrator position is responsible for ensuring that all contractor-related contractual terms are processed in a timely and accurate manner and in accordance with company standards, guidelines and procedures. This position is responsible for creating, reviewing, processing, analyzing, and tracking Enterprise's contractor agreements; including providing initial agreement mark-ups and/or comments on the acceptability of non-standard language requested by the contracting parties. The Contract Administrator is responsible for reviewing purchasing, service, construction, and consulting agreements, identifying risk and legal issues, managing the contract review process by overseeing legal, insurance, safety, and drug & alcohol compliance approvals. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Drafting contract amendments and/or contractual correspondence and coordinating contracts, amendments, exhibits, and correspondence for specific types of agreements and ensuring all documentation is properly handled, routed, and filed; both hard copy and electronically;

  • Ensuring agreements have been properly authorized and that all terms and conditions are accurately captured in company systems;

  • Ensuring compliance with Sarbanes Oxley standards as applies to necessary documentation and tracking of contract preparation, processing, execution and reporting;

  • Acting as contact for external customers to handle routine agreements issues and questions, responding to requests from internal customers, and ensuring all appropriate actions are taken and/or communicated to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner;

  • Interacting and partnering effectively with audit and accounting departments;

  • Participating in special projects and completing ad-hoc reporting as directed;

  • Exercising initiative and knowledge of agreements and transaction impacts of specific language, clauses and requirements; and

  • Providing vacation backup to other contract administrators.

The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a contract administrator or legal assistant creating, understanding, and editing written service agreements, construction agreements, procurement agreements or other pertinent agreements is required.

  • Experience proofreading, auditing, and correcting documents and ensuring accuracy of final documents is required.

  • Understanding and knowledge of contract terms, administrative procedures, concepts, terminology and standards is required.

  • Experience preparing and administering contracts in the oil and gas related industry is preferred.

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience in a business-related field is preferred.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on Word and Excel (including more complicated mail merge function of Word and more advanced function of Excel) is required.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with multiple levels of company and departmental personnel.

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Strong organization skills, prioritize importance of contracts and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work well in a team environment.

  • Self-motivated, ability to work independently with minimum supervision and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Flexible with changing priorities.

  • Effective interpersonal communication skills including the ability to interface effectively with internal and external levels of personnel.

The Lead Administrator, CLM utilizes their contract management experience and expertise to establish, maintain, support, and enhance the US Firm CLM tools, clauses, and templates to drive value through efficiencies, insights, risk mitigation, and compliance.</p><p>The Lead Administrator, CLM supports and manages system design and enhancement projects, develops processes and training, leads testing activities, and leads review, update, and enhancement of US Firm contract clauses and templates, in coordination with applicable business and firm stakeholders. As an experienced member of the US CLM organization, the Lead Administrator, CLM develops, executes, oversees and enhances assigned programs and processes and supports interactions with ITS as well as stakeholders from business and enabling area groups.</p><p>Activities will focus on contract management programs, processes and projects that have an impact at all levels of the organization and across all US businesses, resulting in improved contracts processes, information, and/or system performance, overall cost reduction or avoidance, and continued adherence to Deloitte policies.</p><p>Primary Duties and Responsibilities</p><ul><li><p>Support the CLM technology roadmap, with a particular focus on the Global CLM instance: work with Manager and business stakeholders to understand and act upon evolving business environment and corresponding requirements; work with ITS and technology provider to understand evolving technology landscape.</p></li><li><p>Lead solution design and enhancement in collaboration with CLM team members, ITS, and business stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>Identify and enact continuous service improvements through technology and process improvements, with a keen eye to identifying opportunities to enhance the service provided to the US businesses by the CLM team.</p></li><li><p>Develop and report against KPIs and metrics to demonstrate and make recommendations to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of deployed CLM solutions.</p></li><li><p>Manage development of clauses, templates, clause libraries, and template libraries, working with applicable business and firm stakeholders. Coordinate with technology team to effectively integrate templates and clauses into the CLM solution.</p></li><li><p>Manages quality assurance testing and end-user acceptance testing efforts to validate system functionality. Coordinates with technology team to drive complex system issue resolutions and defect minimization.</p></li></ul><p>General Duties and Responsibilities</p><ul><li><p>Manages assigned contracts management processes, technologies, and initiatives, including identifying required actions and improvements, coordinating with RCMS team to ensure compliance and to drive projects/initiatives to closure on schedule and within budget.</p></li><li><p>Manages contract management project execution, resource deployment, and overall coordination to ensure project completion on schedule and within budget.</p></li><li><p>Provides insight, oversight, strategic context, direction, and leadership to CLM and other professionals involved in assigned areas of responsibility.
