Position Summary:

The Administrator is a qualified full-time employee appointed by the Board of Directors to administer, direct and coordinate all administrative and financial activities of the home health agency.

Essential Functions:

Our Administrator is responsible for administration and management within authority of established company policies and state and federal regulations: Administers fiscal operations, such as budget planning, accounting for health care services. Directs hiring and training of personnel. Negotiates and oversees improvement of and additions to buildings and equipment. Directs and coordinates activities of medical, nursing, and administrative staffs and facility services. Develops or enforces policies and procedures for various establishment activities. May represent office at meetings, and promote programs through various news media. May develop or expand facility programs involving residents, staff or family members.

  • Supervises the entire organizational operation and directly supervises the Director of Nursing

  • Plan, organize, direct and evaluate operations to ensure the provision of adequate and appropriate care and services

  • Comply with applicable laws and regulations

  • Undertake fiscal planning by budgeting and managing operations in accordance with establish fiscal parameters

  • Implement governing body directives and ensure the implementation of organizational policies and procedures, as well as the development and implementation of appropriate service policies

  • Recruit, employ and retain qualified personnel to maintain appropriate staffing levels

  • Establish and maintain effective channels of communication

  • Ensure staff development including orientation, in-service education, continuing education and evaluation of staff

  • Direct and monitor organizational Performance Improvement activities

  • Assure that skilled nursing and other therapeutic services furnished are under the supervision and direction of a physician or Registered Nurse

  • Assure appropriate staff supervision during all operating hours

  • Assure the development and qualifications of professional services and the assignment of personnel

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/ Education/Experience/


The Successful Candidate Will

  • Have basic knowledge over Home Health

  • Detail oriented and ability to maintain accuracy.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality related to facility and residents information.

Job Requirements

  • Health care professional with training experience in health service administration and at least one (1) year of supervisory or administrative experience in Home Health Care or related health programs

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of two years of Home Health experience

  • Must meet initial and ongoing educational requirements as stipulated by the State. p. We offer employees access to wages on demand
