What Your Job Will Be Like

We are seeking an Administrative Support individual to support the Supplier Relations and Supply Chain Management Department at Sandia National Laboratories.

On any given day, you may be called on to:

  • Review metrics and data

  • Work closely with technical customer and procurement

  • Create and manage Subcontractor Risk Assessments

  • Support Supply Chain Risk Management Team on Lab Wide Initatives

Qualifications We Require

  • Requires high school diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE L-level security clearance

  • Ability to work in a fact paced environment

  • Ability to work in customized software systems

  • Ability to work in multiple web applications

The Supplier Relations and Supply Chain Management Department is responsible for a variety of collaborations between Sandia and the community. This includes both current and potential suppliers to Sandia.

Position Information

This Limited Term Employee (LTE) position is a temporary position for one year term, which may be renewed at Sandia's discretion up to a maximum of seven years.

Individuals in LTE positions may bid on regular Sandia positions as internal candidates, and in some cases may be converted to regular career positions during their term if warranted by ongoing operational needs, continuing availability of funds, and satisfactory job performance.

Security Clearance

Sandia is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, law enforcement records, and employment/education verifications. What Your Job Will Be Like We are seeking an enthusiastic Software Systems Engineer for delivery of IT products and services to the laboratories. Our work directly influences the laboratories' future and its IT environment. We partner closely with Cyber Security and other infrastructure IT providers. We pride ourselves on maintaining customer focus throughout the product or service lifecycle. To ensure quality, we utilize agile practices that include: continuous integration, test-driven development and paired programming. Our team members are involved, empowered to make decisions and expected to research and implement new technologies, which may not have immediate project applicability. On any given day, you may be called on to: * Package and deploy software for use with Windows and Macintosh computers. * Troubleshoot software installation issues on both client and server machines. * Complete CNARS requests for classified installation approval.
