About the Position: Eustis, VA. The incumbent will provide day to day Administrative support to the Headquarters element of a multifaceted organization.
Fort Eustis, VA is located in Newport News, between historic Williamsburg and Virginia Beach. Local transportation via the Hampton Roads Transit (HRT) bus service to the surrounding area which includes Hampton, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Chesapeake and Virginia Beach.

Serves as the Administrative Support Specialist for the Army Training Support Center (ATSC), responsible for providing day-to-day management of a variety of support services functions for the organization.
Manage a variety of support services functions for the organization encompassing ATAAPS, overtime, and leave management, telework tracking, civilian employee in and out processing, along with other critical functions
Aids in ensuring the Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA) complies with ATSC Command guidance
Assists with the management of Civilian personnel and manpower actions, as required.
Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1.) Assisting with time and attendance for a medium organization, 2.) Assisting with personnel management and administrative support; 3.) Assisting in routine administrative budget functions as it relates to reviewing and consolidating unfinanced requirements; and 4.) Assisting in the tracking, monitoring, and verifying allocations and expenditures purchase on a company credit card as a designated purchase card holder.This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. NOTE: You must submit a copy of official transcripts.
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of education beyond two years (total semester hours minus 60) by 60. Add the two percentages.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
