Provide administrative, clerical and technical support to the Medicare Enrollment Team and the Purchasing and Service Delivery Administration, ensuring accuracy and professionalism. This individual will also ensure that interactions and business transactions are handled with accuracy and courtesy in a timely manner. Triage situations, develop new processes and become an expert in department records management, processes and protocols.
Customer Service skills sufficient to interact effectively with individuals having differing backgrounds in a courteous and professional manner.
Data Entry skills sufficient to access and compile data, monitor computer print-outs and generate reports.
Database Management skills sufficient to track and analyze business processes; and recommend changes to the team lead that will improve, streamline, and simplify existing methods.
English Language skills sufficient to clearly communicate, both orally and in writing, and convey information, data, and different perspectives on issues.
Physical Demands including standing, sitting, pulling, stooping; ability to lift and move paper and batched documents of up to 20 pounds; ability to move arms on a continual basis sufficient to open mail, sort and file documents.
Word processing skills sufficient to draft letters using forms and/or templates.
Ability to work well in a high volume, deadline-driven operations environment.
Ability to function successfully as a team member and shift roles, as needed.
Ability to prioritize daily work priorities.
Research skills sufficient to search for information from different sources to make routine decisions.
Ability to apply policy and business requirements in relation to his/her work.
