Pay

This position is a nonexempt position at pay grade 111.

Attendance

Non-rotating 40-hour work week, Monday

  • Friday, 8:00 am

  • 5:00 pm; must be available to work additional hours as needed.

Overview

The Administrative Support Ill provides administrative support to the Administrative Manager over Human Resource tasks, to include, but not limited to, processing seasonal position, tracking department vacancies, assist with open enrollment, distribution of W2's, Workman's Compensation forms create Form 12s, process step increases, assist with research, compiling data, data entry, creating reports and other human resource functions as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with creating and processing HR employment forms which include personnel forms, policy acknowledgement forms, Workman's Compensation forms, Employee open enrollment process, etc.

  • Assist with research, compiling data, data entry, and creating reports.

  • Assist with tracking and processing documentation, assist with data entry and creating reports, run reports and confirm eligibility.

  • Assist with processing, and tracking documentation for all permanent, part time, temporary, and seasonal positions.

  • Assist with tracking and revising vacancy reports, Job Questionnaire Assessments, organizational chart revisions, assist with Departmental recruitment files.

  • Attends and assists supervisors during job fair recruitment.

  • Assist internal customers with health benefits open enrollment, W-2 questions, payroll questions, provide general information for HR policies, and assist with any special Departmental Events.

  • Assist with providing forms, assist with Worker's compensation information and submissions, tracking worker's compensation injuries, assist with providing instructions with worker's compensation process, assist with City vehicle accident departmental process, tracking of City vehicle accident information and scheduling management team meetings

  • May be asked to perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Requires Associate's Degree (AA/AS
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience
  • A combination of education and pertinent experience may be considered
  • A valid driver's license is required; successful out-of-state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas driver's license within 90 days of hire

Basis of Rating

Application review and the City may also conduct additional skill assessment tests, in addition to the panel interview.
