Summary:
This position will provide support to the Duluth Minnesotalocation by assisting site personnel with multiple responsibilities including:administrative support, dispatch coordination, scale clerk and payroll backup.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include butare not limited to the following: (Management reserves the right to add ormodify the duties and responsibilities at any time.)

  • Opens, sorts, date stamps and routes incoming mail, answers correspondence, and prepares outgoing mail, FedEx packages, and customer samples.

  • Orders and maintains office supplies.

  • Responds to requests for information, answers telephone, greets visitors/vendors, and tracks down employees for appointments.

  • Updates files, maintains, prints, sorts, and distributes a variety of records such as addresses, telephone numbers, vacation schedules, attendance and timesheets, safety topics, corporate projects, payroll checks, and ticklers.

  • Photocopies, types and/or produces documents, collates, assembles, and distributes materials.

  • Perform data entry tasks for which there is a moderate variation of formats and procedures and general instructions for coding and entering data, to include production reports, shipping reports, and temporary labor hours.

  • Coordinatescarriers on timing and load volume requiring verification and response tocustomers on order information, hours open for delivery, contacts and phonenumbers. Tracks order volume and coordinates with plant regarding production ona daily basis in season.

  • ProcessHuman Resource and payroll duties to include Union cards, backup productionentry, A/P data entry, ADP, and Kronos setups.

  • Reportannual Collective Bargaining Agreement pay rate changes per CBA to OVP andverify they are correct once updated.

Educationand Experience: Two yearsof related work experience and a high school level education, or an equivalentcombination of experience and education. Verifiable excellent interpersonal skills related to dealing withstressful circumstances.

Computer Skills:
To performthis job successfully, an individual should be PC proficient and possess theability to quickly master skills required to function with expertise inmainframe functions such as E1. Must be proficient in Windows XP, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc... Typing speed must be 40 wpm with accuracy.
