Responsible for a variety of administrative services necessary for the effective and efficient management of the Directorate. Receive calls and visitors, respond to inquiries, research data and provide information as required.
Control and coordinate schedules and travel plans.
Provide overall guidance and control of work objectives, responsibilities, policies and priorities regarding office management and administrative support.
Monitor the practices and procedures used by support personnel to ensure they are consistent with those set by the Directorate and Garrison.
Review administrative regulations, procedures and policy directives.
Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.

To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience at the GS-06 level or equivalent which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as performing clerical and administrative support duties to include using office automation equipment to enter, store, search, generate and edit information and documents; researching and consolidating data for reports; responding to routine and non-technical requests for information; AND scheduling meetings, activities and travel for an office or professional group.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
