This position is located on a Forest Service unit and serves as the Fire and Aviation Administrative Support Assistant. The incumbent is responsible for administrative support for the fire organization, property and procurement management, database management for both fire and fuels management, and budget services.

Duties are listed at full performance level:
Serves as the administrative focal point for training, suppression, prevention, fuels, human resources coordination, budget assistance and general administrative support work.
Tracks qualification and certification training using the appropriate database.
Maintains red card printout and folder.
Coordinates Health Screening Questionnaire (HSQ) and pack test.
Assists with fire refresher classes and duty officer binder updates.
Maintains records for various permits.
Assists with various databases, contract administration report, and budget support.
Tracks personnel requests, updates to organizational charts, phone lists, emergency contact information and travel voucher input for employees.
Provides budget assistance, fleet tracking and mileage input, cell phone coordination, credit card assistance, Fire Management Plan update and coordination, and militia support.
Maintains local and state cooperative agreements and coordinate human resources for fire management.
Maintains compliance with regulatory, policy, and departmental directives.
