Job Summary:
Responsible for maintaining high-quality front-line customer service to faculty, staff, CVM students and other guests who visit the Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Ensures exceptional customer service is provided to walk-in traffic, email inquiries, and in-bound phone calls.
Demonstrates initiative to ensure customers are always served quickly and accurately. Provides direct administrative support to the VTH Director, VTH Administrator, and VTH Administrative Associate. Requires excellent customer service attitude and an ability to work under pressure and participate in a team environment.
Must maintain confidentiality and sensitivity in handling employee information. Promotional Opportunities may be available through an established career development plan. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background investigation.

Position Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
High school/GED and 1 year of clerical/customer service experience. Post-secondary education may substitute for years of required experience.
Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills in order to interact professionally with all levels of administration. Must be self-motivated and well organized.
Capable of independent judgment, decision making, and performing with minimal oversight or supervision. MS Office experience. Confidentiality required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Eight years of clerical/customer service experience.
Completion of the Ambassador Program, Leadership Development Program, Fiscally Fit, or HR Star
