Deliver consistent, timely and accurate responses to inquiries by telephone, in person, by email.
Prepare and send notices and other correspondence.
Gain and proficiently apply an understanding of code enforcement activities and organization policy and procedure to work tasks and to have informed interactions with individuals.
Research on-line state and county sources and City systems and input applicable information into computer systems.
Process permit applications, receive payments, prepare deposits and transaction records.
Provide assistance with the application.
Manage filing and reporting systems to efficiently achieve identified criteria.
Prepare purchase orders, track credit card invoices and submit invoices to finance.
Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Must have one or more years of experience in clerical practices and procedures.
Must possess a valid Oklahoma drivers license and a driving record acceptable to the Citys insurance carrier.
Knowledge of modern office practices, Business English, spelling, math and vocabulary.
Proficiency in Word and Excel and able to learn other software as required.
Able to operate ten-key by touch.
Able to communicate professionally and courteously.
Able to read, understand and communicate City Ordinances, State Laws and the International Property Maintenance Codes.
Able to handle money and account for it properly.
May be required to have or obtain Notary Bond and Commission.
