This position is responsible for the programming of client services to women members of the public interested in starting new, and growing emerging, businesses. Offered through the WISE Women's Business Center (WISE WBC), a very active center located in the downtown area of Syracuse, NY, the services include but are not limited to counseling, training, mentoring, and networking services. The WISE WBC is a program of the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University, and is funded, in part, by the US Small Business Administration. The Administrative Specialist will oversee the operation of several programmatic areas:
Coordinating, scheduling, marketing and delivering of WISE WBC events and curriculum, including the use of social media, effective customer relationship management and preparation of materials.
Manage the tracking and flow of progress of clients to appropriate resources and counselors, including scheduling meetings, maintaining accurate contact information, and gathering feedback in regards to ensuring the support of clients and their progress towards goals.
Manage data collection, analysis and reporting of the WISE WBC clients and overall effectiveness of programming using designated CRM and reporting systems. This will require following operating procedures from S.U. and the SBA.
