Description of Work

Salary Grade: GN06 Salary Range: $31,200 - $48,058

This position is in the Quality Control Unit of Business Services. This position examines and inspects title and registration documents for proper completion and fee collection according to State and Federal requirements. This position verifies source documents for evidence of potential fraud and/or alterations and will review & enter data, using the State Titling and Registration System (STARS) mainframe database while maintaining a daily production goal.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / Competencies

  • Experience interpreting/applying laws, policies & procedures.

  • Experience gathering and analyzing data to determine proper courses of action.

  • Experience inspecting documents with accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Experience using Windows Operating Systems, Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, Calculators

  • Experience in customer service resolving customer issues.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and two years of related administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
