This temporary position is located in Fayetteville - Cumberland County.

Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $18.00 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).

This temporary position will be assigned to the Department of Health and Human Services. This position is located at 1211 A Ireland Dr., Fayetteville, NC 28304.

This position is responsible for all ordering and purchasing, entering and tracking Prior Authorizations and working with enrolled providers for the Cape Fear CDSA, a multi-program agency serving a multi-county region.  As a CDSA purchaser, this position is responsible for completing all aspects of placing orders, securing quotes, clarifying product selections, adhering to deadlines, receiving items, gathering required signatures and documentation, receiving orders online and distributing items received after the Business Officer has approved the purchase.  This position will audit and code accounts payable invoices and work with vendors to resolve issues as needed. Duties also include monitoring supply inventory and maintaining the agency fixed asset inventory.  Other duties as assigned.NOTE:  Qualified applicants must meet and CLEARLY reflect on their application training and experience and all knowledge, skills, abilities, and any experience or competencies specified in the posting and/or supplemental question(s) to be considered.   • Considerable knowledge of services, policies and procedures related to a program or area of specialization.

  • Ability to demonstrate and apply this knowledge in performance of administrative tasks; ability to explain and interpret information to clients/customers and staff.

  • Considerable knowledge of program policies, procedures and information systems in order to communicate and process information.

  • Ability to compile, assimilate and organize both printed and electronic information; ability to apply knowledge of data collection, storage, organization, manipulation and/or analysis of data.

  • Ability to utilize office equipment and other relevant technology (software and systems) to meet organizational needs.

  • Ability to identify and understand issues, problems, and opportunities; use effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions.

  • Ability to clearly convey information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups.

  • Ability to present ideas clearly and effectively in written form; ability to adjust language or terminology to meet the needs of the audience; ability to use correct grammar, organization, and structure
