The Swette Center for Sustainable Food Systems is seeking an Administrative Specialist Special Projects based at Tempe campus to provide executive-level coordination and support for the Center and conduct special projects in support of the Swette Center mission. This is a hybrid role with approximately 50% of time devoted to special projects and 50% devoted to administrative support.
Under supervision by the Director of Strategic Initiatives, the individual will perform diverse and often complex administrative duties of a responsible and confidential nature requiring considerable independence. Special projects duties will require excellent research and communication skills. The successful candidate will enjoy a fast-paced, active office and be proactive, able to take ownership of tasks, and able to manage several projects at one time. The incumbent will have contact with high-level administrative offices and will require judgement and discretion.
Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of executive-level administrative support experience; OR, Nine (9) years of executive-level administrative support experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
