Description The Oregon State Police is seeking an experienced and professional Administrative Specialist to join the team!
This is a permanentfull-time position with the Oregon State Police in Salem at General Headquarters.This is a full-time position that is classified and represented bythe American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME). Duties & Responsibilities What will you be doing?As the Interlock Ignition Device Administrative Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting in the creation andoperations ofthe application, licensing, and fee collection portions of the IID Oversight Program.In this role, you arethe sole support for the IID Oversight Program and will assist the IID Program Lieutenant, Sergeant and Troopers with daily operational support.
Work includes providingstatewide coordination and leadership supportof the Ignition Interlock Device (IID) Oversight Program, includingmonitoring and assisting in the establishment of Oregon Administrative Rules for IIDs and communicating with private vendorswho install and monitor IIDs in individual vehicles as ordered by the courts.A more detailed position description can be found here: in it for you?You will join a team ofadministrative professionals that will help challenge and strengthen your skills through deeper understanding of the complexities of public service.
