This position supervises and reviews work completed by subordinate professional staff performing accounting duties in federal financial reporting, financial analysis, federal budget projections and general accounting at the full performance level. Reviews and approves work of bureau grant staff for federal grant applications, federal budget request and state plan amendments prior to submission for final administrative review to ensure compliance with complex federal regulations, mathematical accuracy and completeness.

Reviews proposed department subgrant agreements to determine if all federal subrecipient criteria contained in the 0MB circulars are satisfied. Prepares federal financial reports adhering to processers and procedures to ensure compliance with federal rules and regulations.

Training: Graduation from a regionally accredited college or university with a degree in the area of assignment.

Substitution: Experience as described below may substitute for the training requirement on a year-for-year basis.

Experience: Five years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid administrative or supervisory experience in the area of assignment.

Special Requirement: A valid driver's license may be required.
