Job Overview:
Processes surgical pathology reports, answers telephone, performs general clerical work to relieve medical, professional and technical personnel of minor administrative and business details.
Performs additional tasks as requested by Medical Director or Pathologists on duty.
Qualifications:
Required:
High School Diploma
Minimum of one year secretarial/business school, which included courses in medical terminology,
Computer skills, EPIC required, word processing,

Essential Functions:
Accurate typing skills, including word processing. Must be capable of working independently.
Must exercise good judgement and demonstrate initiative in performing various administrative functions.
Familiarity with medical terminology a must. Computer skills (EPIC knowledge) preferred.
Contact with all sections within the department, other departments within CMMC and physicians offices; occasional contact with patients.
Duplicates reports, letters and other documents using copying equipment and mails or distributes copies within the organization and to outside Medical Offices.
