At the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency, our primary goal is to protect the environment and public health. We do this by ensuring compliance with federal and state environmental laws.

What We Need YOU To Do:

The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency wants you to be our newest administrative professional in the Division of Surface Water (DSW), working at our Central Office in Columbus.

So, what's the average day look like?

As DSW's administrative professional, you will process National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permits, Permits to Install applications, Section 401 Certifications, and other associated documents and letters. You will send approved permits and permit correspondence to applicants and interested parties, as well as generating copies of draft and approved permits in portable document formats for electronic publishing. You will maintain permit program files, manage public notice requirements for the division, assist in fulfilling public record requests, and manually update NPDES permits in the federal ICIS system.

You will be supporting division initiatives through the creation and assignment of revenues in the REVENUES system, generating and mailing invoices. You will provide backup support for the front desk when needed, answering and transferring incoming calls. Lastly, you'll be a part of team Ohio EPA, helping to keep Ohio's environment safe and healthy for years to come!
