Opheim School District #9 is seeking a Superintendent, Principal, or Lead Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year and beyond. Opheim is a K-12 school with approximately 40 students. Our school operates on a 4-day week, beginning in mid-August and ending before Memorial Day.
Minimum Requirements:
Master's degree or beyond in school administration or information demonstrating ability and willingness to obtain such a degree.
Valid Montana Administrator's certificate with appropriate administrative endorsement upon hire.

Duties:
This role involves overseeing all aspects of the district's operations, including curriculum development, staff recruitment, staff evaluations, professional development, budget management, and facilities maintenance. This person is expected to work collaboratively with the school board, teachers, parents, and wider community and must possess the ability to communicate clearly. The superintendent/ principal/or lead teacher may also fill other roles such as teaching a class if necessary on a stipend basis.
