About the Position:
Position may be filled as a temporary promotion or temporary reassignment NTE 1 Year, by a current permanent Army employee. Temporary promotions or reassignments may be extended up to a maximum of five years, and may be made permanent without further competition.
Position may be filled as a temporary appointment NTE 1 Year, if candidate is not a current permanent Army employee. Temporary appointments may be extended up to a maximum of three years.

Participates as a member of the project/program teams or product delivery teams.
Performs required data collection, database maintenance and verification, develops reports and documents to present data relative to the monitoring of project activities such as schedules, budget, manpower needs, and milestone progress.
Processes a wide variety and volume of planning and project management technical and administrative information and data needed to support the monitoring, scheduling, and reporting requirements of managers.
Develops and monitors data received during processing to assure consistency and apparent correctness and coordinates correction/modification with appropriate project managers or other technical specialists as applicable.
Final reports, transmittal packages, or other products are prepared and distributed as scheduled or in accordance with special/nonscheduled, one-time requirements as directed.
Participates as a member of project teams or product delivery teams working with other professional, technical, or clerical personnel.
Acts as liaison for all teams to report current information on many controversial projects.
Manages a variety of administrative activities for Office (timekeeping, travel, property management etc).
Advises supervisors and staff on interpretation and application of District regulations pertaining to human resources management.
Initiates and tracks all Requests for Personnel Action (RPAs).
Maintains historical data on proposed and future training schedules, initiates all training requests, monitors performance plans and appraisals for proper and timely completion, monitors FTE usage.
Manages and executes the procurement of supplies, materials, equipment, and services for office.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience compiling and maintaining information and statistical data to prepare various recurring reports on operational and administrative matters; experience coordinating travel arrangements utilizing the appropriate fundamentals and resolving discrepancies. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).
Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Office Management or Business.
Superior Academic Achievement: Successful completion of all the requirements for a bachelor's degree with Superior Academic Achievement. In order to be creditable under this provision, Superior Academic Achievement must have been gained in a curriculum that is qualifying for the position to be filled, such as that identified in Education above.Superior Academic Achievement is based on:
(1) Class Standing
(2) Grade-Point Average (G.P.A.)

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes analytical and evaluative skill to perform qualitative and quantitative assessments of work processes, budget data, personnel utilization; develop program plans and work methods; utilization of automated tools related to human resource requests, financial management; and administrative experience in scheduling and arranging federal travel and training requirements.. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Office Management or Business.
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
