Position Summary:

This position provides comprehensive management and coordination of care for patients requiring Kidney and Pancreas Transplantation. The level and intensity of care coordination is situational and appropriate based on patient need. The areas of transplantation covered are: pre-transplant evaluation, wait list management, post transplant follow up and the timely placement of organs.

Salary Range:

Rate Minimum $88,300.00 Maximum $159,000.00

Required Qualifications:

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the organization

Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload

Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Demonstrated knowledge of immunosuppressive therapies and care of the post-transplant patient

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job

Must possess the skill, knowledge, and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties

Registered Nurse

Working knowledge of UNOS requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

Masters of Science in Nursing

Nurse Practitioner

Previous transplant or organ procurement experience preferred

Research and identify proposals, RFPs, and grants related to Extended Education, then coordinate and prepare required response documents including securing Certificates of Insurance. Track all partner, client, and instructor contracts and assist in the renewal process, as necessary. Perform all duties in accordance with the University's policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the University operates. TYPE OF SUPERVISION: Receive general supervision from the Dean of Extended Education. General Supervision — indicates that the incumbent develops procedures for performance of variety of duties; or performs complex duties within established policy guidelines. POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Percentage Office Administration * Serve as the front line for the Dean's Office and the Office of Extended Education by greeting and assisting visitors, answering phones, directing calls, and providing appropriate information. * Complex calendar management for the Dean including arranging meetings, conference calls, and travel. * Coordinate all travel logistics for the Dean including process travel requests, obtain approvals for travel, work with airlines, hotels, and rental car companies to arrange and book, identify appropriate budget for charges related to travel, and reconcile travel expenses. * Coordinate events and conference logistics including securing travel for Extended Education staff, securing a booth, shipping collateral and other related materials for the events and conferences. * Make purchases on behalf of the Dean; track and provide reconciliations. * Audit financial documents such as invoices, purchase orders, aging reports, and accounts payable for accuracy and completion. * Coordinate and track projects by preparing project plans, monitoring progress, verifying completion, and processing payments, as needed. * Coordinate logistics for all new hires in the Extended Education department including creating on-boarding schedules and collaborating with IT to set up all necessary equipment and programs prior to new hire start date. * Provide assistance and support for Extended Education projects, as requested. * Order and track School of Extended Education supplies, as needed. 50% Proposal, Grant, & Contract Support * Research, identify, and review proposals, RFPs, and grants related to Extended Education and present them with an action plan to the Dean; prepare all required response materials. * Review incoming proposals to determine which are related to or would impact Extended Education and present them to the Dean, then assist in the preparation of the proposal response by determining what data needs to be included, work with other departments to obtain the requested information, then compile and review data for accuracy in the preparation of reports, charts, budgets, etc. * Help secure Certificates of Insurance needed for contracts by meeting requirements for renewals and ensuring accurate completion and submission of paperwork. * Determine department needs then research and identify relevant RFP's and grants and present them to the Dean. * Document, organize, and track partner, client, and instructor contracts including identifying expiring contracts, notifying the Dean, and assisting in the process of renewal. * Track Outreach partnership contracts and notify Marketing of any new ones related to corporate or school districts. 30% Meeting Logistics * Coordinate and organize meetings and events, including booking the meeting room/location, catering, determine date/time that works for all attendees, and ensure meeting is prepared with the correct equipment and programs. * Create PowerPoints, meeting agendas, and other presentation materials to help prepare for meetings. * Track time and take detailed notes during meetings;
