Administrative - Marketing Contract Associate

We have a current open opportunity for a Marketing Contract Associate to join our team! This position based at the corporate office, located in the Syracuse area, and supports the Marketing Department in daily operations.

Daily duties:

  • Edit and proof read documents used for presentations, brochures, website, etc.
  • Perform shipping for Marketing Department, includes packaging and creating shipping labels
  • Create purchase orders and place orders as requested
  • Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the departments activities
  • Support marketing team in organizing various projects
  • Assist in the organizing of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns
  • Communicate directly with clients and encourage trusting relationships

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of office-based Assistant experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
  • Ability to read and interpret general business related documents, including proposals
  • strong planning, organization, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on a routine basis

These campaigns should leverage research insights to drive tangible, measurable results. A problem-solver, the Director ensures dozens of projects stay on-time and on- budget. With an ability to spot and mitigate potential issues, this individual builds and manages relationships and mobilizes resources to meet goals. With a high-degree of emotional-intelligence, the Director ensures their teams are positioned as strategic marketing partners for the assigned business/academic unit. Has a solid understanding for contemporary approaches to brand stewardship.
